Neon Sign Installations at the Wanchai Promenade, Hong Kong

Art commission by Victoria Harbour (Hong Kong Development Bureau) featuring two large LED neon light wall installation by artist Sharmaine Kwan. Located at the centre of the promenade that stretches from Central to Wanchai, the installation features elements such as Hong Kong's skyline in an oversized 3D pop-up card, a ferris wheel and other festive elements in connection with the theme. By immersing the public into the piece, the work attracts and engages with passerbys and tourists alike whilst echoing vibrantly with the harbour and iconic skyline.

霓虹燈一直是香港文化的重要組成部分，是次豎立在灣仔海濱花園 (又稱the Connector) 的燈飾裝置，透過將不同的元素轉化為霓虹燈藝術，以突顯這座城市獨有的能量和活力。設計中的立體賀卡以香港天際線為主軸，讓遊人可置身這巨型圖像當中拍照，分享給親朋好友。設計還有多款型格的聖誕樹和色彩繽紛的摩天輪。另一方面，聖誕老人和他的小精靈亦已經抵達香港，他們的聖誕足跡，立時令這座城市閃耀著北極之光。期望兩組裝置，於佳節期間可以為海濱的遊人增添歡愉。 這兩款霓虹燈是由本地藝術家關舒文Sharmaine Kwan設計。她的作品曾在世界各地展出，創作媒體包括有裝置藝術，新媒體藝術及時裝插畫。
添馬與會展的海濱長廊2019/10月正式開放使用，新開放的海濱長廊長達2公里，分布維港兩岸多個地區，令目前維港海濱長廊的總長度達23公里。海濱會(發展局)與藝術家設計師合作，定期舉辦「期間限定」設計。為配合聖誕節，添馬至會展的長廊安裝了特別的藝術裝置。
